What is A Condensing Boiler

A condensing Boiler is basically a 90% efficient or higher rated boiler.  They transfer more than 90% of the heat into the water rather than half of it going out the vent piping.  This actually makes it so the exhaust air is cool enough that we can install plastic vent piping vs. steel or stainless steel vent piping which is more expensive.  The condensing boiler also generates water it runs so efficient, that means that you have to have a drain close by to dump the condensate from the flue piping into.  Condensing boilers are great for homes that have radiant floor heat or hot deck coils in their furnaces.  They are very efficient, small, and put out a lot of hot water.  A lot of them can even hang on the wall.  Most Condensing Boilers are dual fuel so whether they are propane or natural gas is no problem.  So if you want one in your cabin in the mountains or anywhere from Boise, Nampa, Caldwell or Kuna to Eagle that is no problem.  If you have any questions give us a call or CLICK HERE and we can get one of our Boiler experts over to your home or office to take a look at your individual situation and get you an estimate on a new condensing boiler system if it is the best way to go.
