Hot water you can count on
When the hot water runs out, you notice right away. Our plumbers repair and replace every common kind of water heater: gas and electric tanks, tankless units, and hybrid and heat pump water heaters. We’re available 24/7 for leaking or failed water heaters.
You get your options and a clear price before any work starts, from the plumber who looked at your system. If a repair makes more sense than a new water heater, we’ll say so.
Make it last. A yearly flush clears sediment and a check of the anode rod and relief valve catches problems early. The Drake Duck Club Plumbing and Whole House plans include both. Financing is available for residential customers.

Josh and his crew (Oscar and Levi) came out to install my new water heater and repipe my entire home. It was 3 days and they did a fantastic job! I will add that my drywall guy came to make some repairs and he also said they did a fantastic job! Thank you again to the entire team!

We were having low water pressure from our kitchen faucet and tried changing the cartridge and the wand and a few other things with no success. Thomas Conley came out and fixed problem within an hour. Now our water pressure is back to normal and we are extremely happy. Thomas is very professional and knowledgeable. Very happy with Drake Mechanical

Common questions
Have a question that isn’t here? Call us any time at (208) 362-6200.
How long does a water heater last?
A tank water heater typically lasts around 8 to 12 years, depending on your water and how well it’s been maintained. Tankless water heaters often last longer. A yearly flush and a check of the anode rod help any water heater last as long as possible.
Should I repair or replace my water heater?
If it’s fairly young and the problem is a part such as a thermostat, element, igniter or valve, repair it. If the tank is leaking, or the water heater is near the end of its life and needs repairs, replacing it usually makes more sense. Your plumber will show you both options and the price of each.
Should I get a tank or a tankless water heater?
A tank water heater costs less to install and works well for most homes. A tankless water heater heats water on demand, so you don’t run out during back-to-back showers, it takes up less space and typically lasts longer, but it costs more up front. We’ll compare both for your home and how your family uses hot water.
How often should a water heater be flushed?
Once a year for most homes. Flushing clears the sediment that builds up in the bottom of the tank, which makes water heaters noisy, less efficient and shorter-lived. Tankless water heaters need a yearly descaling flush too. The Drake Duck Club’s Plumbing and Whole House plans include a water heater flush and check.
Do you offer emergency service?
Yes. We’re available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for plumbing, heating and air conditioning emergencies. Call or text (208) 362-6200.
