How much does plumbing repair cost?
It depends on what’s wrong and where it is. Replacing a faucet cartridge is a much smaller job than repairing a pipe inside a wall. Your plumber diagnoses the problem first and gives you a clear price before any work starts, so you decide whether to go ahead.
What causes low water pressure?
If it’s one faucet or shower, a clogged aerator or showerhead is the usual culprit. If it’s the whole house, it could be a failing pressure-reducing valve, a partly closed main valve, a leak in the water line, or old galvanized pipes narrowed by buildup. We can find the cause and fix it.
How can I tell if I have a hidden water leak?
Watch for a water bill that jumps without a reason, damp or stained drywall, warped flooring, a musty smell, or the sound of running water when nothing’s on. With all fixtures off, check your water meter: if it’s still moving, water is going somewhere. Call us and we’ll track it down.
