Signs you need a drain cleaning
Grease, soap scum, hair and food build up inside drain pipes a little at a time until water stops moving. A slow drain in one fixture is usually a local clog; slow drains in several fixtures at once usually point to the main line.
How a Drake drain cleaning works
Our plumbers clear sink, tub, shower, toilet, floor, laundry and main sewer line clogs, plus air conditioner condensate lines and water heater drains. We choose snaking or hydro jetting based on what’s causing the clog, and when clogs keep coming back we run a camera through the line to find out why.
You get a clear price before any work starts.
Hydro jetting
Hydro jetting sends a high-pressure stream of water through the pipe to scour grease, scale, sludge and tree roots off the walls, not just punch a hole through the clog. It’s the best choice for recurring clogs, grease-heavy kitchen lines and main lines with roots, and it’s safe for most drain and sewer pipes. On older or damaged lines we check with a camera first.
Drain snaking
For a single clog in a sink, tub or toilet, a professional drain snake (auger) with the right cutting head clears it quickly. Our commercial-grade machines reach far deeper than store-bought snakes, and they’re safer for your pipes than chemical drain cleaners.
Sewer camera inspection
When a drain keeps clogging, a camera shows us what’s happening inside the line: roots, sags, breaks or buildup. More about sewer line inspection and repair.

We were having low water pressure from our kitchen faucet and tried changing the cartridge and the wand and a few other things with no success. Thomas Conley came out and fixed problem within an hour. Now our water pressure is back to normal and we are extremely happy. Thomas is very professional and knowledgeable. Common questions
Have a question that isn’t here? Call us any time at (208) 362-6200.
What is hydro jetting?
Hydro jetting cleans the inside of a drain or sewer line with a high-pressure stream of water. Instead of just punching a hole through a clog the way a snake does, it scours grease, scale, sludge and roots off the pipe walls, so the line stays clear longer.
Should I have my drain snaked or hydro jetted?
Snaking is the quick fix for a single clog in a sink, tub or toilet drain. Hydro jetting is better for clogs that keep coming back, grease buildup, roots, or slow drains in several fixtures. Your plumber will recommend one based on what’s causing the clog.
Is hydro jetting safe for my pipes?
For most drain and sewer lines, yes. On older or damaged pipes we may run a camera through the line first to check its condition and choose the right method.
Why do my drains keep clogging?
Grease, soap scum, hair and food build up on pipe walls a little at a time, so a clog that was only punched through comes back. Roots or a sag in the sewer line can also cause repeat clogs. Hydro jetting and a camera inspection get to the cause.
Are chemical drain cleaners bad for my pipes?
They can be. Harsh chemical cleaners can damage pipes and fixtures, often don’t clear the whole clog, and make the job harder and less safe for the plumber who comes next. If a plunger doesn’t work, call us.
Do you offer emergency service?
Yes. We’re available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for plumbing, heating and air conditioning emergencies. Call or text (208) 362-6200.
